CLERK’S MINUTES:

The minutes from the June annual meeting and regular meeting had been dispersed earlier. It was moved by Bob and seconded by Joe to accept minutes. Motion carried.

TREASURER’S REPORT:

Joe’s financial report had been dispersed earlier. It was moved by Elgin to accept the report and seconded by Bob. Motion carried.

OUTSTANDING BILLS:

A list of the outstanding bills for July had been dispersed earlier. It was moved by Elgin to pay the bills and seconded by Bob. A roll call vote was called:

FIRE DEPARTMENT:

John Reisig was present to give Fire Department report. He will see new fire truck is at township picnic. There were 7 runs in June. 4 medical, 1 car accident, 1 wire down, 1 mutual aid run.

PARK COMMISSION:

Mulch will be placed under swingsets. Park Commission would like those helping to be at park by 11:00am and ready for picnic at 12:00pm. Old railroad ties will be moved on Thursday evening. Rudy has agreed cook hot dogs and hamburgers on his grill.

PLANNING COMMISSION:

Next meeting will be on August 1, 2007.

BOARD OF APPEALS:

The board of appeals met and approved two(2) variances.

WATER DISTRIBUTION:

Water District has come up with a figure of $410,000 for townships for improvments needed to continue water into townships. Andy Kobisa is willing to call a water board meeting to organize and start survey letter. He will contact Randy Hock, Mick Broka, Ed Briggs, Don Dice, Jim Hockameyer, Gene Smith and will notifly Mike Kressler when meeting will be.

CHAPEL COMMITEE:

Wilbur Havens was present to update on chapel and cemetary grounds. He is still looking into prices for fencing. The price from Midland Fence Co. is $10 a foot and Menards is $6.00 a foot. Elgin, Wilbur and Mike will meet Monday the 16th at cemetary to lay out project.

TOWNSHIP CODE AUTHORITY:

The savings has $16,639.37 and the checking has $4,723.04 in it. Jerry Davis is suppose to pay back $2,175 to TCA for Ed Gannon’s inspections. He has paid to date $875.00 will keep up to date on info. The next meeting is Monday, July 23, 2007 and Bob will be covering meeting. The Code Authority is interviewing for a new building inspector.

WIXOM LAKE IMPROVEMENT BOARD REPORT:

No meeting.

TOWNSHIP ROAD ADVISORY COMMISSION:

Jim Hockameyer will get with Jim Young from County Road Commission to discuss additional cost for Hull Road.

NEW BUSINESS

1. Blue Flame has given the township a price of $1.57 per gallon for paying in advance. It would be for Fire Department, Town Hall, and Chapell. Bob moved to pay in advance for propane, Joe seconded. A roll call vote was called:

2. The Clerk brought in new fees for Sexton’s pay. We had not raised pay since 2002. It was moved by Elgin to accept fees and seconded by Bob. Motion carried.

3. Treasurer had a resolution to allow treasurer to electronically move money. It was moved by Joe and seconded by Elgin Childs. A roll call vote was called:

4. Elgin made a motion for new Deputy Treasurer, Starleen Heath, to be put on signature card for Chemical Bank. It was
seconded by Bob and motion carried.
